Enid

This is Enid. That’s what everybody calls her, she doesn’t like nicknames. She is 23 years old and works at an aquarium, which she enjoys a lot but doesn’t make a lot of money from. She is good at carrying conversations and she really likes crocheting. She has a long term goal of becoming someone who has so many friends, and she tries very hard to achieve this goal. Celia is her most recent new friend, and is a good opportunity for Enid to make even more friends. Many of Celia’s friends do not like Enid but Celia is way too kind to tell her that.

One of her habits is that she narrates. She narrates almost every time she gets stressed out. It is a coping mechanism from all of the stress that she has. She gets extra stressed out around corn, peas, beads, glitter and other small objects that can make a mess. She is very obsessive about organisation, punctuality and cleanliness. This is seen as both a good and a bad quality that she has. On one hand it means that she is always on time to events and always makes sure she has everything she needs, but on the other hand it gets annoying when she tells you everything wrong about your outfit.

She genuinely cares so much about all of her friends, and she has a lot of compassion toward people, but she just doesn’t know how to express it the correct way. She gets jealous really easily and says things on a whim without thinking about how they make other people feel, but she loves Celia and all of her friends and really wants to make friends with others. She also has a nephew and she loves him so dearly.
